The ElectriCarder is designed to work with your Ashford Carder as an accessory. There is no permanent modification necessary to your Ashford Carder. The ElectriCarder does not change the way the Ashford Cards, just how it is powered.
It is made from hardwood locally sourced in the Mid North Coast of NSW. The ecologically sustainable plantation timber is locally milled, and the unit is craftsman made. The timber is finished with an organic timber treatment from our friends at FarmBitz.com

Variable ratios using the existing pulleys
Self installation requires a screwdriver only
Stands on non-scratch feet
Motor Unit enclosed to provide safety
Forward to card & Reverse for easy removal of rovings

Footswitch option NOT installed, however is available on this site

# Screw in the latches for added stability
# remove the handle and add the new pulley
# wind the belt
# Plug in the ElectriCarder
